Górecki

Few things are more interesting than realizing the contagion effect of arts through time. Especially concerning sensibility for music in its all forms. For example, one song inspired by another with different genders: a classical partiture degenerated into an electronic alternative song. Years gone by and the power of reinventing remains. Creativity is the master key to aim beyond the unachievable.

Górecki is the name of the polish 20th-century composer, that influenced Lamb with Symphony N.º 3 to create this love song. The particular strangeness of the dissonant style of the music made by Andy and Lou, contrasted by the strongness and clarity of its lyrics: «If I should die this very moment/ I wouldn't fear/ For I've never known completeness/ Like being here/ Wrapped in the warmth of you/ Loving every breath of you». One of the greatest songs I know, that was born of a composition based on maternal and brotherly love.  Art and love, closely linked in music.
