Mais um bom exemplo, desta feita francês, da dicotomia que um cover imprime numa canção. Diria que o tom hardcore dos polémicos NTM (ou Suprême NTM) - grupo porta-voz das frustações e da revolta da geração francesa dita «perdida» -, se extrai mais do videoclipe do que da própria versão de Ma Benz por Brigitte. As vocais femininas vêm limar o estado bruto do original, adocicando-o, embora a letra-chumbo possa ser disparada à outra sociedade, que percebe já à luz da manhã o grafitti ainda meio fresco mantendo-se à parte do underground que foge dos bastões de «la police» cativo nas notícias da televisão. Os tempos mudam mas nem tanto, também a Joplin há quase 44 anos pedia a Deus o Benz que nunca guiou.
